- Hot Coffee Discussion with Dixon Gahnz and Sly — by Wildcard Administrator — last modified Nov 29, 2011 03:26 AM
- The Hot Coffee documentary uncovers campaign to limit your rights. Attorney Dixon Gahnz discusses three myths: 1) Injury lawsuits are out of control, 2) Damage caps work, and 3) Judicial elections are all fair. The truth is that tort (personal injury) filings have been dropping, accounting for less than 5 percent of all civil caseloads in a 2008 seven-state study. Yet, contract cases most often filed by businesses now hog more than 50 percent of the court docket. Regarding damage caps, capping damages on medical malpractice cases does nothing to hold down health care costs, while deaths and serious inuries from medical mistakes continue to occur at alarming rates. The truth about judicial elections is that the U.S. Chamber of Commerce spent "nearly $35 million" in 2008 on pro-business candidates, including state Supreme Court judges, and was ranked first among "Super Spenders" on state judicial elections, 2000 to 2009.

- Sue Ann Glissendorf's Client Testimonial - Medical Malpractice (60 seconds) — by Wildcard Administrator — last modified Aug 02, 2011 08:37 PM
- I am Sue Ann Glissendorf from Janesville. We chose Lawton and Cates because we felt the hospital and the doctors were responsible for my husband’s disability. We’re very happy with our results. We have a life again. We got back everything we lost, most everything, some things we’ll never get back. Finally, I can breathe again. I was working seven days a week, two jobs, sometimes 14-16 hours. Lawton and Cates really worked hard in our defense. Could’ve given up, but didn’t. They chose to believe us and dig deeper and found out the information we had given them was the truth. Then they let them have it. Trust the voice of experience. Call the attorneys at Lawton and Cates, 282-6200. When you need an attorney, trust the voice of experience, the only choice, Lawton and Cates.
