Is the Marital Estate Always Divided 50/50?

There are several factors that the court may consider in making a deviation from the presumption of dividing the marital estate 50/50. These factors include the length of the marriage, the property the parties brought to the marriage, if one party has substantial assets that are not included in the marital estate, the age and health of the parties, and whether one party substantially contributed to the education or training of the other party.
