What if my Spouse and I Want to Try to Work Things Out and Reconcile?

If you and your spouse would like to reconcile, you can file a written stipulation with the court. The court will stay the proceedings for not more than 90 days. If you’re able to work things out, the court will dismiss your action. If you are unable to reconcile after 90 days, the proceedings will continue.
