What is an Annulment?

An annulment, unlike a divorce, declares the marriage invalid. In Wisconsin you can get an annulment in very limited circumstances. In order to file for an annulment you must have lived in the county you are filing in for 30 days before proceeding. And you must have had the marriage commenced in Wisconsin, in most cases, in one year.
