Ann Glavan is an associate attorney with LawtonCates S.C. in Madison, Wisconsin. She received her undergraduate degrees from the University of Missouri in journalism and economics, with honors.
Prior to law school Ann spent four years working as a sports journalist based in Virginia, Kentucky, and Florida. Ann then obtained her law degree from the University of Wisconsin-Madison, graduating in June of 2022 after being named that year’s recipient of the Susan Steingass Outstanding Trial Attorney award. Following graduation Ann worked as an associate attorney at Fox & Fox in Monona, practicing primarily employment law and personal injury. Ann then served as a staff attorney to the Dane County Circuit Court judges for two years before joining LawtonCates in the spring of 2025. Ann currently serves as the chairperson of Governor Ever’s Department of Safety & Professional Services advisory board for Professional Counselors. Ann also serves as a volunteer attorney coach for Madison West High School’s mock trial team, which competes annually in the State Bar of Wisconsin’s program.
